🌿 The neighbourhood
Zandvoort is known for its wide sandy beach, relaxed atmosphere, and stunning natural surroundings. In summer, enjoy food and drinks at the many beach clubs, and in winter, take long peaceful walks along the coast and through the dunes.

Nature lovers will especially enjoy the Kennemerduinen and Waterleidingduinen, both UNESCO-style protected areas. These expansive dune landscapes feature forests, heathlands, lakes, and wildlife such as deer, foxes, and many birds. Perfect for walking, cycling, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

Amsterdam is about 30 minutes away by train, making it easy to combine beach, nature, and city trips.

For active guests, there are plenty of options such as surfing, kiteboarding, horse riding, or mountain biking. The Circuit Zandvoort is also nearby, hosting exciting international events throughout the year.

The train station is just a few minutes’ walk and offers direct connections to Amsterdam, Haarlem, and Schiphol Airport. Public transport makes exploring the surrounding area easy.
